بعدما أعلن الفنان فضل شاكر قبل 3 سنوات عن نيّته إعتزال الغناء بإعتبار
الفن الحرام، خرج فضل عن صمته من جديد معلناً عن مفاجأة أفرحت جميع محبيه،
وهي أنه عدل عن فكرة الإعتزال التي راودته بسبب القرف الذي شاهده في المجال
الفني، وأكّد أنه سوف يغني وسيعطي أجره لكل المشردين والمحتاجين وضحايا
الثورات العربية إيماناً منه بالربيع العربي، وأضاف: "اللي عجبو عجبو،
واللي ما عجبو يروح يبلّط البحر!"
