أكدت وزارة الدفاع الأميركية (البنتاغون) عدم إمتلاكها أي مؤشرات حول
رسو سفن إيرانية في ميناء سوري في مطلع الاسبوع، ما يتناقض مع تقرير لوسائل
إعلام إيرانية.
وقال المتحدث باسم البنتاغون جورج ليتل أنه "ليس
ثمة أي شيء على ما يبدو يسترعي الاهتمام بصورة إستثنائية بشأن التطور
الخاص بالسفينتين الإيرانيتين، معتبراً أنه يبدو انه مجرد عبور روتيني
نسبياً لقناة السويس.
