أعلن وزير الخارجية العراقي هوشيار زيباري أن سوريا غير مدعوة الى
القمة العربية المقبلة في بغداد في 29 آذار المقبل، مستبعداً أيضاً دعوة
المعارضة السورية للحضور.
وأشار زيباري في مقابلة متلفزة إلى أن
"القرار حول مشاركة سوريا في القمة ليس قرار العراق بل قرار الجامعة
العربية، والعراق ملتزم بقرار الجامعة"، لافتاً إلى أنه "من الآن وحتى موعد
عقد القمة فترة طويلة ومن خلال المشاورات سنتوصل الى وضوح في هذا
الموضوع".
